Common Questions About Postpartum Support

Baby blues are very common in the first 1–2 weeks after birth and typically resolve on their own. Postpartum depression is more persistent, more intense, and does not resolve without support. If you are still struggling after two weeks, reaching out is the right thing to do.
Yes. Postpartum anxiety — including intrusive thoughts about harm coming to the baby — is very common and very treatable. CBT is particularly effective, and many mothers find significant relief within a few weeks of starting therapy.
